First AGM for the Hubs Foundation

The Hubs Foundation is having it’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) asynchronously from November 1 – 5

Resolutions and reports will be sent to all the Hubs Foundation members so that they can vote on them and send them back during the specified time period. The resolutions and reports will also be available to the general public via a post on hubsfoundation.org that links to the relevant documents (only Hubs Foundation members will be able to vote).

Elections are also held at the AGM (they will be part of the documents sent around), so if you would like to serve on the board (provided you have signed up as a member), please fill out the Director Nomination Form, and optionally one or more Officer Nomination Forms, then send the form(s) to us at our email address prior to the AGM (the sooner the better). We can’t run the Not-For-Profit if we don’t have a board, so please seriously consider nominating yourself for a position. If you want to run for multiple positions, you can, but you need to send in one form per position.

The agenda for the asynchronous AGM is as follows (i.e what you can expect to find in the documents that are sent around/posted):

  • A resolution to adopt the by-laws.
  • The election of directors/officers.
  • The corporation’s financial statements.
  • A resolution to waive the appointment of a public accountant to perform a financial review/audit.
