We have important news to share 🙂
The Hubs community have officially incorporated a non-profit, the “Hubs Foundation”. 🥳 🎉
As we continue to develop, we will need your help. We hope you will support us by volunteering your time and funding. One thing is now clear: the community has risen up and we are taking it from here.We are thankful to everyone in the Hubs community who have participated by volunteering their time, feedback, and dedication. Their participation has been instrumental in making sure this has been, and is, a truly a community endeavor. Work still needs to be done and due to the tight timeline we have a minimal board to transition us past May 31 and get things going; however, we expect to hold proper elections around six months from now. As we progress, there will be many things to do, so if you feel like helping, please join the V-Formation Village Discord server, poke around, join a team or two, and generally be ready to help when needed. Also, feel free at any time to start discussions and share your ideas!
Aside from volunteer work, we are going to need some funding if we are to be able to hire people to contribute to the stable development of Hubs and account for other operating expenses. This means that in the near future we will be setting up ways for people to sponsor us monetarily and we hope that you will support us in this way as well. Ideally, we would like to get some starting capital so we can hit the ground running and make the transition as smooth as possible.
